I’m Jennifer, and I help people navigate life while experiencing grief, trauma, and loss. I walk beside children, teens, and adults in the aftermath of the death of a family member, cancer diagnosis, divorce, or life-changing crisis, providing support and scaffolding as they adapt to their new circumstances.
As a mother who has experienced deep grief and joy in parenting, I particularly connect with parents navigating grief and trauma and assisting them in creating a connected relationship with their children. I would be honored to accompany you or your child in the deep and meaningful work of healing from grief and trauma and finding a path through these difficult circumstances.
You remember when your child laughed easily and your family felt like itself. Now grief or trauma has changed everything, and you’re not sure how to find your way forward.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I have many years of experience as a therapist working with those experiencing trauma, such as domestic violence, as well as those grieving the loss of a loved one or the end of a relationship. My personal experience with traumatic loss and grief allows me to provide support as a fellow traveler on this path rather than just as an outside observer. I believe in the importance of developing nervous system-based regulation strategies to navigate daily activities while integrating the impact of trauma and grief.
I believe that play is the natural language of children and that when children experience trauma, play therapy is required to release emotions and access parts of the brain that may not be accessible through words. Synergetic Play Therapy allows me to assist children and their parents in finding sensory strategies for nervous system regulation and to help children fully express their emotions in a safe, non-judgmental space.

When you sit down with me for the first time, you won’t have to explain why grief is so hard or justify why you’re still struggling. I’ve walked this path myself, and that shapes everything about the way I show up for the people I work with. You’ll find someone who listens without rushing, who meets you exactly where you are, and who believes wholeheartedly that healing is possible, even when it doesn’t feel that way yet.
For families, that means I take the whole picture into account. When a child is hurting, the parents are hurting too, and I hold space for all of it. I’ll help you and your child stay connected even when grief or trauma is making that feel impossible, and I’ll make sure you never feel like you’re navigating it alone.
